	Levied on as the property of Thos. B. King, to satisfy two fi. fa.’s issued out of the 6th Circuit Court of the United States for the District of Georgia, at the instance of Richard Carnochan and Rise, Parker &amp; Co. vs. Thos. B. King, and the same was advertised according to law. &#13;
	Received, on this the day and year aforesaid, from James Potter the sum of Six Thousand and five hundred and, five dollars - - - - &#13;
and being the highest and best bid that could be obtained for said Negroes at said sales, and I, Wm J Davis Marshall of the United States for the District of Georgia aforesaid, for and in consideration of the sum of six thousand and five dollars to me in hand paid, by the said James Potter - - - &#13;
as aforesaid, do, by these presents, bargain, sell and deliver unto the said James Potter the said Negroes together with all the right, title, demand or claim of the said Thos. B. King,&#13;
