GRACE ELIZABETH JAMERSON NEELY (1908-2009)
Born 11 October 1908 at Woodlawn, in Pamplin, Virginia, Grace Elizabeth
Jamerson was the daughter of Bryant Thomas Jamerson and Nannie Garrett. Active in
civic and church organizations in Danville, Virginia, she also worked in the
administration office at Stratford College. She married Robert Russell Neely, also of
Pamplin, in Lynchburg, Virginia, on 15 September 1930.
Grace Jamerson Neely died 11 September 2009 in Lynchburg and was buried in
the Pamplin Community Cemetery in Pamplin, Virginia.

ROBERT RUSSELL NEELY (1905-1999)_
Robert Russell Neely was born 14 Dec, 1905, son of Robert James Neely and
Edith Gibson of Pamplin, Virginia. He attended the Danville Military Institute and was a
graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in 1928. He also received a Masters Degree from
the University of Virginia. Active in civic and church organizations, he was treasurer and
business manager for the Danville (Va.) Coca-Cola Bottling Company for many years.
Robert Russell Neely died on 14 May 1999 in Lynchburg and is buried in the
Pamplin Community Cemetery, Pamplin, Virginia.

NAOMI CRAWLEY (NONA) JAMERSON MASSEY (1913-1989)
Naomi Crawley Jamerson, the daughter of Bryant Thomas Jamerson and Nannie
Garrett, was born 8 September 1913 at Woodlawn, in Pamplin, Virginia. She was
employed by the U.S. Postal Service for thirty years. She married Benjamin Charles
Massey on 15 August 1931 in Appomattox, Virginia.
Naomi Jamerson Massey died 8 January 1989 in Lynchburg, Virginia, and was
buried in the Pamplin Community Cemetery in Pamplin, Virginia.

BENJAMIN CHARLES MASSEY (1909-2011)
Benjamin Charles (Bennie) Massey was born in Dubois, Pennsylvania, on 22 July
1909, the son of Charles Edward Massey and Roxanna Marsh. The family moved to
Pamplin, Virginia, where he graduated from Pamplin High School in 1927. He worked
with his father-in-law with farm work and also served as a substitute mail carrier for 49
years.
A member of Pamplin United Methodist Church for over ninety years, Bennie
Massey died on 12 August 2011 and is buried in the Pamplin Community Cemetery.
