The collection includes six stock certificates from the Lynchburg Dental and
Surgical Depot, Inc., issued to Frank C. Foster, Lynchburg, Va.

LYNCHBURG DENTAL AND SURGICAL DEPOT, INC.
Lynchburg Dental and Surgical Depot, Inc., was incorporated in Lynchburg,
Virginia, on Mar. 19, 1925, with a capital stock of $25,000 (Certificate 27891). The
company had operated for several years prior to incorporation and supplied dental,
surgical and hospital supplies. The principal office was at 816 Church Street, Lynchburg.
The principal officers were William W. Dennis, dentist, president, T. McMurray
Armistead, dentist, vice-president and Frank C. Foster, dentist, secretary-treasurer.
According to the Virginia State Corporation Commission, the Lynchburg Dental and
Surgical Depot, Inc., allowed its charter to be revoked as of May 31, 1929, for failure to
pay the annual registration fee assessed against it for the two preceding years.
