HARRIS FAMILY COLLECTION (1736-2015)
The collection includes notes by Marjorie K. Huiner on the Harris family and allied
families, including Bibb, Hancock and Hart, in preparation for writing a family history. Also
included are family genealogical charts, court records, photographs, and notes of interviews with
various family members. Research notes for articles on the Thurmond family home in Lynchburg
and the Harris-Woodson Candy Company of Lynchburg, published in a local historical magazine,
are also included.
