The Woman’s Resource Center of Lynchburg, Virginia, Inc., a community-based nonprofit corporation, was organized in 1977 in response to the changing roles of women in
today’s society. The Center provided information on career and personal development to
strengthen the economic, professional and personal well-being of women. The Center
closed in 2000.
