GENEALOGY OF WILLIAM JOHNSON (VALENTINE JOHNSON LINE)
This is a typewritten paper tracing the descendants in Virginia and Kentucky of
William Johnson (1714-1766) and wife, Elizabeth Cave Johnson (1720-1785), through
their son, Valentine Johnson (1765-1848). The paper was probably written in the 1930s
by one Charles Johnson. Included are typewritten copies of the will of William Johnson
(Orange County, Va., 1766), a letter from Robert Cave Johnson on the death of his father
(1848), the will of Valentine Johnson (Orange County, Va., 1848), and the genealogy of
the Cave family.
