The collection includes a photocopy of a scrapbook kept by a class taught by Charlotte
Henry LAWSON at the John W. Wyatt School in Lynchburg, Virginia.
CHARLOTTE HENRY LAWSON (1889-1963)
Charlotte Henry LAWSON, the daughter of James R. LAWSON and Mary WALSH,
was born 31 August 1889, in Farmville, Virginia. She was first "elected to teach" in
Lynchburg for the school year 1922-1923. She taught in the public schools of Lynchburg
for a total of 47 years. She died 22 February 1963 and was buried in the Presbyterian
Cemetery.
