certificate of incorporation.
LYNCHBURG GLASS CORPORATION
The organization eventually known as the Lynchburg Glass Corporation was
begun as the Lynchburg Glass Works, Inc., ca. 1918, in Lynchburg, Virginia, with
Nathaniel D. ELLER as President/Treasurer.
The Lynchburg Glass Corporation was incorporated on 16 July 1923, with
Nathaniel D. ELLER as president. The stated purpose of the corporation was the
"manufacture of glass containers, glass ware, sheet glass, plate glass, and window glass."
The plant was closed in 1925 and the corporation was dissolved on 25 February
1926 with all assets delivered to the First National Bank.
