This collection includes three microfilm reels of the Quaker Archives now in
custody of the Baltimore Yearly Meeting, Homewood, and microfilmed by the Maryland
Hall of Records. These three reels include information from monthly meetings in the
Lynchburg, Virginia, area.
Reel M-823 Richmond preparative meeting includes minutes 1815-1818 and
minutes, ministry and oversight, 1891-1922; South River monthly meeting includes
register (births, deaths, certificated, condemnations, marriages, and testifications) 17571797.
Reel M-824 South River monthly meeting, minutes 1759-1857, and minutes
(Women Friends) 1764-1827; Goose Creek monthly meeting includes register and
certificates 1774-1801, marriages, testifications and acknowledgements 1795-1813.
Reel M-825 Goose Creek monthly meeting, minutes 1794-1814, and minutes
(Women Friends) 1794-1814; Western quarterly meeting includes minutes 1797-1799
and minutes (Women Friends) 1797-1817.
