Lynchburg, Virginia, celebrated its 150th anniversary in 1936. This collection
contains information about and memorabilia from the celebration, including
correspondence, pamphlets, photographs, audit report, and artifacts. Newspaper articles,
souvenir programs, a record of the sales of the Carter Glass commemorative half-dollars,
and a report on Lynchburg writers completed as a sesquicentennial project by Evelyn Lee
